FORK LIFT TRAINING
WHAT QUALIFICATION PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE?:

Successful Course participant will receive an RTITB Certificate and Powers Safety Training Certificate valid for 3 years. Participants will be able to demonstrate safe forklift operating skills and avoid danger to people and property.

COURSE AIMS:

To reduce forklift accidents. Safe forklift operating skills and avoid danger to people and property.
FORKLIFT COURSE CONTENT:

Legislation
-
The operators’ safety code.

General safety rules.
-
Daily inspection procedures.
-
Lift truck controls and instruments.
-
Starting/ moving/ stopping and steering the truck.

Operation of hydraulic controls.

Vehicle loading and unloading.
-
Stacking and de-stacking.
-
On/ off-ramp driving.

Lift truck stability.
-
Loading and stacking procedures.
-
De-stacking and unloading.

Maintenance

Charging and changing batteries.

Fuelling procedures.
COURSE OUTCOME:
• Participants will be able to demonstrate safe forklift operating skills and avoid danger to people and property.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

All of our courses are delivered using the English language so delegates must also have a good command of English both written and spoken so the course can be fully understood.
