PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID

WHAT QUALIFICATION PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE?:

  • Successful Course participant will receive Powers Safety Training certificate. It is valid at any workplace in Ireland for 2 years from issue date.

COURSE TIMES & LOCATIONS:

  • Instructors will complete training on-site or at the specified venue. Course duration 1 day and may vary and can be discussed at the time of booking.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE:

  • Suitable for parents, grandparents, babysitters and creche workers and including anyone else who is interested in learning or refreshing life-saving skills.

WHY SHOULD STAFF TAKE THIS COURSE :

  • In line with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, we provide Paediatric First Aid training to childcare workers around Ireland.

COURSE AIMS:

  • Power Safety Training will show you how to assess your child or infant for injuries, how to apply CPR and treat choking, how to treat bleeding, burns and medical conditions specific to children.

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID COURSE CONTENT:

  • Asthma

  • Allergies/Allergic reactions

  • Infant and Child Choking

  • Infant and Child CPR

  • High temperature

  • Bleeding & Wounds

  • Broken bones & Fractures

  • Poisoning

  • Bites & Stings

  • Seizures

COURSE OUTCOME:

  • Successful Course participant will receive Powers Safety Training certificate. It is valid at any workplace in Ireland for 2 years from issue date.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • All of our courses are delivered using the English language so delegates must also have a good command of English both written and spoken so the course can be fully understood.
